Madison Honig, a 23 year old from West Hollywood, California, was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at age 16. When Madison was diagnosed she had to put everything on halt, and admits, “One of the things that helped me through the treatments was surrounding myself with positivity and humor,” something that Cuck Fancer. full-heartedly believes helps cancer patients get through rough times. Madison has always been interested in helping others and has strived to do so from a young age. Once in remission, she founded her own organization, Madison’s Caring for Kids with Cancer, and raised thousands of dollars for All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. In addition, Madison has joined the Leukemia Lymphoma Society Team in Training running group and volunteers at Mattel Children’s health. She is now cancer free in a Master’s program at Pepperdine University. Her goal is to become a teacher that works with children who are unable to attend school due to illness. We love Madison’s attitude about paying it forward and hope to be a small part in getting her closer to her dreams!
