Jayme King, a 22 year old from Sparks, Nevada, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma not once, but twice; first at age 20 and then again at 21. Her attitude from the get go has been refreshingly optimistic, “I am choosing to turn this life changing event into a positive situation.” Jayme embodies what Cuck Fancer. stands for – staying positive through the hardest of times, and realizing that your experience with cancer is what you make of it. Jayme has maintained an astonishing 3.6 GPA, while still dominating with her teammates on the softball field. She is only 43 units away from graduating with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies at the University of Nevada. Jayme does not want anything to get in her way. “I desire to get back on my feet and back to my life after cancer.” We are so proud to help Jayme during her fight. Currently, Jayme has just finished a bone marrow transplant and is recovering. We can’t wait to hear about her progress and wish her a fast recovery so she can get back to kicking butt on the softball field!
